"As a Mortgage Planner, I assist my clients with their financial needs now and for the future by keeping them perpetually qualified to buy the home of their dreams. In addition, I make sure they are positioned to take advantage of any market opportunities for refinancing. One of the most important things I do is assist my clients by creating a plan, preparing them for life changing events, such as childbirth, college tuition, real estste purchases, loss of a job, death of a spouse, retirement, etc...I have a network of top professionals that assist me with any area of expertise that falls outside of my services." 

Doug’s desire to help others is what brought him to his present career as a Reverse Mortgage Planner. With his expertise in this area he enjoys working with our senior community, helping them to achieve their financial goals.

Doug considers working with the senior community a privilege. He recently completed a comprehensive course study program through the Society of Senior Advisors (SCSA) and earned the designation of Certified Senior Advisor. The SCSA is an international organization that has trained more than 20,000 professionals to meet the changing needs of a growing senior population.

Doug and his wife Julie are very new and very proud parents to their baby girl, Kameron Hope. Doug and his family reside in Telford, Pa, and are lifetime active members of the Indian Creek Church of the Brethren. In his spare time, Doug enjoys being in the outdoors hiking, fishing and hunting. You may also see him and his family enjoying community activities through Doug’s participation and involvement with the Harleysville Jaycees.

Doug finds taking the time to help design a plan, focusing on the individual and seeing them achieve their goal of financial independence to be most rewarding.
